The Mepkin Abbey Crèche Festival is a self-guided walking tour of nativity displays from around the world. Displays are both outside and inside. It is approximately 1/4 mile walk each way, but it is wheelchair accessible. There is no cost to attend, but the Abbey appreciates donations to offset the cost of hosting the festival. Cookies, hot cocoa, and coffee will be available for purchase, and there is a gift shop with holiday gifts and fruitcakes. Mepkin also offers a Crèche Store with a wide variety of nativity sets so that you can begin your own crèche collection.
